# Engagement tracking

> Monitor and improve stakeholder engagement

Leap Change tracks stakeholder engagement to help you identify who needs attention and measure the effectiveness of your change activities.

## Engagement metrics

### Engagement score

Each stakeholder has an engagement score from 0-100, calculated from:

* Survey responses
* Communication interactions
* Meeting participation
* Activity history

### Readiness levels

Stakeholders are categorized into readiness levels:

| Level         | Description                                    |
| ------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Champion** | Actively supports and advocates for the change |
| **Ready** | Prepared and willing to adopt the change |
| **Aware** | Understands the change but needs more support |
| **Resistant** | Skeptical or opposed to the change |

Readiness levels are updated based on survey responses and manual assessment.

### Influence and support

* **Influence** - The stakeholder's ability to affect others (Low, Medium, High)
* **Support level** - Their current stance on the change (from Resistant to Champion)

## Monitoring engagement

### Stakeholder table

Use filters in the stakeholder table to identify:

* Low engagement scores
* Resistant stakeholders
* Stakeholders who haven't been contacted recently
* High-influence stakeholders needing attention

### Reports

The [Stakeholder Impact Analysis](/reports/stakeholder-impact) report provides:

* Engagement distribution across your stakeholder population
* Readiness breakdown by department or group
* Trends over time
