Leap Change uses AI to analyze meeting transcripts and automatically identify potential change impacts. This saves time and ensures you don’t miss important impacts mentioned in discussions.

Supported formats

Upload transcripts in these formats:
  • VTT - Web Video Text Tracks (from Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • DOCX - Word documents
  • TXT - Plain text files
  • PDF - PDF documents

Extraction process

Step 1: Upload transcript

  1. Go to Change Impacts
  2. Click ImportFrom Transcript
  3. Select your transcript file
  4. Choose the associated project

Step 2: AI analysis

Leap Change processes your transcript and:
  • Identifies statements about changes
  • Extracts current and future state descriptions
  • Suggests severity levels
  • Groups related mentions
This typically takes 30-60 seconds depending on transcript length.

Step 3: Review suggestions

You’ll see a list of suggested impacts:
  • Title - AI-generated title
  • Description - Extracted details
  • Confidence - How confident the AI is in the extraction
  • Source quote - The transcript excerpt that triggered the suggestion

Step 4: Accept or reject

For each suggestion:
  • Accept - Creates the impact with the suggested details
  • Edit and accept - Modify details before creating
  • Reject - Discard the suggestion
  • Merge - Combine with an existing impact

Tips for better extraction

Automated transcription works best when speakers are clear. Manual cleanup of obvious errors improves results.
Mentioning “this change will affect…” or “the impact on…” helps the AI identify impacts.
AI may suggest duplicates or miss context—always review before accepting.
Selecting the correct project helps the AI filter relevant impacts.
